Billing and Insurance

We are currently providers for most insurance plans, except Medicaid. Our office will file your insurance claim for you, but you will be responsible for the following:

  • Co-payments due at the time of service
  • Deductibles or Co-Insurances
  • Procedures not covered under your insurance plan.
  • Naming Forest Pediatrics as your Primary Care Provider if you have an HMO plan

Patient Statements

Once your insurance has paid, you will be sent a statement (bill) for any charges not covered by your plan. If you have any questions regarding your statement, you may call us at 936-321-5030 option 13 for the billing department.

How to Pay

You may pay your bill by mail, in person, or over the phone. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Forest Pediatrics

If you have a question for the nurses or providers, please call the office during business hours and leave a message on the nurses' voicemail at extension 11.

Messages left before noon will be called back before lunch. Messages left after noon will be called back before the end of the day.

The nurses do not usually answer directly when the phones ring, as they are usually busy with patients in the office. Please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Please use the Pediatric Advisor for information on many infant, children and teen health issues and concerns.
